Reminder: Please send in your Friends of Scouting Form

Many thanks to Mr. Hughes for the Friends of Scouting presentation at our Parent’s Night on March 19th.

ThankYouIf you haven’t already returned your Friends of Scouting contribution form, please do so immediately.   The Council is critical in ensuring trained adult and youth leaders, in providing quality programs like the recent First Aid Meet, and terrific facilities like Goose Pond Scout Reservation.  Thank you for supporting our Council.

Troop 160 competed in the 2015 Dan Beard District First Aid Meet on  March 21, 2015.  The crew led by Ben Sebring earned first place.  Congratulations to Ben and team.

Ty Davis was interviewed by WBRE as part of their video coverage of the event.

Goose Pond Campership Application

Troop 160 and the Northeastern Pennsylvania Council offer limited camperships to help families who are unable to afford the full cost of summer camp.  Please follow the link below and follow the instructions on page 2 of the attachment.  For applications to be considered they MUST be received prior to April 9th in order to give the Troop enough time to review and process your application.

Troop 160 Hats are Available

Troop 160 hats are available for $12.  These are top-notch quality hats, with a high-quality embroidered logo.  They are one-size-fits-all.  The Troop committee is making them available for a purchase price of $12.  They count an an official uniform component along with the official BSA hat.  If a Scout is going to wear a hat when in uniform it must be either the Troop 160 hat or the official BSA hat.  No other hats are allowed to be worn when in uniform.

Note that for the Fall 2014 Washington Trip, ONLY the Troop 160 hat is allowed in order to be unique from the other Troops.
